Exciting News: Restarting My 6-Week Lifestyle Journey!


If you've been following my lifestyle change, you know what I've been up to. I've just completed my 6-week lifestyle reset journey, and I'm super excited to announce that I'm starting it all over again! I actually began the reset phase again yesterday, so I figured I would blog about it. This journey isn't only about shedding pounds (though I must admit, I do love that part) – it's about embracing a comprehensive approach to health. And when you're healthy, you're more confident! I lost 7 lbs. in the last 6 weeks, my clothes fit looser, and I have more energy. Now that is a confidence booster! I think I will just keep doing this until I get to where I want to be! And no, it isn't about the number on the scale! It's about how I feel in both my skin and my clothes! Here are the before and after photos taken on January 8th and February 19th, respectively.



Now, anyone who knows me is aware that I do not post pictures of myself often. Posting these pictures is important because it shows just how well this lifestyle change works! No one should ever put their health and well-being on hold! This is actually great for the entire family!


What sets this reset apart is its simplicity. There's no calorie counting involved. Instead, it's all about teaching our bodies to reignite that fat-burning mode. And let me tell you, the benefits for gut health have been amazing! I've even managed to get my husband on board (well, sort of 😅). Together, we're relearning the importance of viewing food as fuel. He's even become a fan of our protein shakes – and if you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you've seen my stories, you know that's a big deal!


The journey was enlightening in many ways. Not only have I felt more energized, but I've also become more mindful of what I eat and how it affects my body. It's been a process of discovery, finding out which foods make me feel great and which ones to avoid. The best part? I've been able to share this journey with my husband, and it's brought us closer as we work towards a healthier lifestyle together. He even eats foods that he swore he never would (cauliflower rice being one of them). And did I mention that my blood sugar has dropped and has stayed down?


If you've been feeling low on energy, wondering about your digestive regularity, or experiencing gut health issues, this reset might be just what you need. Since starting, I've noticed a significant increase in my energy levels, reduced bloating, and even identified some foods that don't agree with me. Plus, I've rediscovered some old favorites and found great substitutes for treats like pizza and rice that even my picky husband approves of! Who knew cauliflower pizza could be so good? I have even discovered delicious new recipes and ways to satisfy cravings for things like chocolate and chips! Oh, and I do get to have chocolate and chips and all those things. I just learned how they affect me and actually discovered some things that I will be avoiding (as hard as it may be)! And all those things are choices!
